What I learned from failing the REG Exam

    1. Try not to go it alone. Have some sort of study group or online blog of like minded people. Encouragement goes a long way in the last few days before exam especially.

    2. When in doubt pick the best option, flag it and move on. If there is extra time at the end go back, if not move to the next test.

    3. Stick to the time schedule. I failed with a 68 because I only managed to do 2 SIMS. I think there was 6 or 7 of them, 40% of the marks. When I reviewed my exam score breakdown, the only area I was weak in was SIM.

    4. Knowledge is not everything. There was nothing that I saw on the exam that alarmed me; the course I followed equipped me well; but my time management was so poor, there is where I failed.

    5. Now I will pick myself up, dust my books off and start again for a rematch in January. Only this time I also have BEC in Feb so must be even more efficient with my time.
