Can you put it in context …? Probably means Business Day. So if the last day of the month is the 31st, that would be BD-1. The first business day of the month is BD1. Deadline is BD 2, then your deadline is on the second day of the month.

Who is “they”? What is it in relation to? They could've had a deadline for “Before Divulging”, and they just finished the deadline for “before divulging”. Still not really enough context to say. 😐

Amor D's suggestion of “birth day” is good for general usage – I have seen BD used this way before. In a work email, Gatorbate's “business day” is good too.

Sounds like you mean broker-dealer deadline. The SEC requires broker-dealers to file their financials 60 days after year end which was March 3rd. Those who were granted extensions would stretch past the third.

We may be speaking about two different things but I am still healing my wounds from the BD I worked on.
