    Taxman, salary.com and glassdoor.com are good sources for that type of information. But I'm with brnhilton, thats not the type of personal information I share with anybody.

    You guys don't want to share your personal info with the OP, huh? What losers!

    Let me start: I've lived in the great state of West Carolina since 2003. My job title is Chief Accountant for the Chief Operating Officer of AASA. AASA is the American Accounting Society of America. I make $1,000,000 a year and work 13 hours a week. Now, your turn, @taxman2012

    @FearTheBeard… you get to put in overtime for any of those 13 hours? Sounds like a lot of work. I put in about 8 hours a week and I am at $1.5M… you should talk to your manager.

    FAR - 2012 - PASSED (YAEGER)
    AUD - 2012 - PASSED (YAEGER + NINJA NOTES)
    BEC - 2012 - PASSED (YAEGER + NINJA NOTES)
    REG - 2013 - PASSED (YAEGER + NINJA NOTES + NINJA AUDIO)

    ETHICS - 2013 - PASSED

    DONE!!! Thank you A71 for all the support! Hiya!!!

    @mdrobbin

    No, I don't get overtime. I'll speak to HR immediately. Doesn't feel good to get shafted like this. I bet the OP makes $2,000,000 for 6 hours a week.

    I understand why people wouldn't want to share this info, but a lot of people have shared this before on another thread here. You can look that up, it was very informative. But keep in mind, with cost of living, perks, etc., it all varies wildly. I got offered as an entry-level public auditor, $53K, $48K, and $35K. However $53K was in DC and is about equal to the $35K I was offered in small town, VA. The $48K was in Houston, where the cost of living is still very low and, from what I've seen, that's on the high end of a starting salary for non-Big 4. Hope that helps.

    BEC: (4/2012) 88
    AUD: (5/2012) 91
    REG: (8/2012) 82
    FAR: (1/2013) 78 🙂
