Hi everyone – I’m taking FAR on Monday and then I’d like to get another test taken within this window. Any suggestions on something that I can study 4/20 – 5/28 and have a decent chance of passing? I’ve been told BEC, but wanted to get some more opinions before I order my new NINJA study materials. 🙂 Thank you!

    FAR: 69 (10/2012), 70 (4/2015), July 2015
    BEC: May 2015
    REG: August 2015
    AUD: November 2015

AUD or BEC definitely, I'd probably lean a little heavier on AUD due to the fact there is some carryover there.

I failed FAR back in January and then passed AUD (96) in late February with about ~ 7 weeks of studying. I'm currently in your shoes though and will be (re)taking FAR on Monday and then trying to squeeze in BEC at the end of May, not looking forward to the hustle.

    Good luck on Monday!

Good luck – I'm also retaking FAR – I took it back in October 2012 and just got over being mad about my 69! That is an awesome score on AUD!!! I'm not working in audit anymore, so honestly that one intimates me a bit. I think I'm going to go with BEC…..

ARCPA – Arkansas CPA by any chance?

Yes, Arkansas, hoping to have these exams finished by September! 69 was close, I scored a 73 and it about made me sick with it being my first exam but it helped light a fire under my arse to get these things done, those 2 points cost me an extra $200 and 2 months of studying!!

All of the exams are intimidating but I felt a lot more comfortable after walking out of AUD than I did FAR. They say the AUD MCQ can be a little tricky but I thought the AUD SIMS were presented a lot better (more clear) than the FAR SIMS, my FAR SIMS on my last exam were a complete nightmare so I'm hoping to get a better draw this time.
