What % of questions must you get right to change difficulty?

If you had to guess, what percentage of questions on the first testlet do you need to get right in order for the difficulty to increase? And is it probably the same % for the second testlet so that the difficulty remains hard for the third?

At least 50 % correct seems low so I would imagine maybe 75 % correct to raise the difficulty of the next testlet. What do you all think?

75% is a good guess. Unfortunately it's just one of those things we can't control. Treat every question as an opportunity for points and do your best.

That's like asking “How many licks does it take to get to the center of a lollipop?” The world may never know! 😉

    I would say 80-85%.

The times where I've really noticed a change in the questions from one testlet to the next, the first testlet seemed like every question was straightforward and I felt good about nearly all of my answers (read: I only flagged 2-4 questions).

    REG - 89
    FAR - 84
    AUD - 73, 86
    BEC - 89

Guessing 75-80%. Great question as I've wondered this before. But we'll never have an answer.
