What Should I Do?

My BEC exam expires on October 18 and that is the only test I have passed thus far. I feel with the Ninja MCQs and other techniques that I learned on this site should help me take my FAR exam from a 71 to a 75. I plan on taking that exam in early October. Then I will also be studying for Audit and as you guys know there really isn’t all that much material. I did really bad on the simulations but believe next time I should have a very good shot at passing it. Even though my score dropped the second time around, I was much more prepared. I will also add Ninja MCQs and notes for this section and plan on taking it a week or two after my FAR exam.

So then there is REG which I have been studying since August 1st. What should I do here? Should I take the exam before my BEC credit expires or should I take this exam in late November? If I take it in late November, obviously I lose credit for the BEC exam. I have completely free for the next four months as I will not be working. Studying for two exams together isn’t all that difficult considering how much free time I have, but is taking three tests so close to each other pushing it? Would you guys consider me taking REG and BEC in late November and put all my attention to Audit and FAR?

If you've been studying REG since Aug 1 and not working I would take that by Aug 31, FAR on Oct 1 and AUD on the 18th.

Can't figure out why you've been studying REG if FAR is the next exam you plan to take? That said, studying 2 simultaneously is a very bad idea especially if you've been struggling for the last 16 months.

    FAR- 77
    AUD -49, 71, 84
    REG -56,75!
    BEC -75

Massachusetts CPA (non reporting) since 3/12.

Well, I took FAR towards the end of July so that's why I started studying for REG. I can't take it by August 31st as I am not even close to being prepared for it. The reason I am able to study for two tests at once is because I have more time now. At first I would only study one test at an time but that was due to my work schedule. I'm able to still put in three to four hours per subject a day right now. I really believe one of the reasons I've been struggling so much is due to memorizing the MCQs for Wiley instead of learning them. I added Ninja MCQs to give me different questions and that should work. I just don't know what I should do with REG. If I put it off until I take my Audit exam, I will essentially have to learn the subject all over again. Would that be enough time to take the exam towards end of November?

Honestly I think you're too over the place. You're basically looking at starting from scratch if you lose BEC so I don't see the point in trying to cram 3 in one window, even if you're not working. Every time you retake an exam you are starting from scratch. Doesn't matter that you took FAR in July, you still want to study like it's the first time. Remember you don't need 4 more points for FAR, you need 75 more points.

Absolutely, I'm still planning on putting over 150 hours for FAR before I take the exam again in October. I actually started studying again for FAR in early August as well. I guess I need to accept reality that I will be losing my BEC credit. I did pass that exam on my first try and could always take it again another time. The hardest exam in FAR and I need to get this one done before anything else. I don't feel it is all that much studying Audit along with it since I'm able to give three hours a day to both subjects, but it would be overkill studying for REG at the same time.
