My exam is at the end of next week and I just realized my BEC BECKER CDs don’t have practice exams. There is so much stuff on the CDS I assumed it would be there. But I went through it today and found no practice exams. Any idea what I should now?

I've never taken a practice exam and passed 3 on the first try. I think MCQ are more than sufficient.

I'm the same as Casa, except I've taken all 4 successfully without doing any practice exams. Just drill the MCQs, some SIMs if you like, and work on learning from them. The practice exams aren't that useful in my opinion.

I also did no actual practice exams and managed to pass all 4. Sometimes I'm sure they can be beneficial but sometimes all they do is shake you up.

    FAR- 77
    AUD -49, 71, 84
    REG -56,75!
    BEC -75

Massachusetts CPA (non reporting) since 3/12.

That's weird that there are no practice exams. Are you in the “review before final exam” page? You can see that from your home page. That's where the final exams are if you want to take one. I have the online version so not sure if that would be different from your CDs.

I never personally used the final exam to study because you have to wait so long to see what you got right or wrong, and to me, it's not an effective use of your study time.

If you want to get familiar with the way the exam looks, I encourage you to check out the AICPA website. Here is the tutorial and sample test page: https://www.aicpa.org/BECOMEACPA/CPAEXAM/FORCANDIDATES/TUTORIALANDSAMPLETEST/Pages/exam_tutorial_parallel.aspx

    BEC: 73, 81
    AUD: 85
    FAR: 71, 77
    REG: 74, 75...finally DONE! 😀

*This is my 2nd attempt at the CPA exam. For all of you who have failed this exam many times, given up on it, or taken a break like me, remember that it is still possible to finish what you started...failure is the opportunity to begin again more intelligently 🙂

The only time I did practice exams was when I took REG and FAR on the same day. I wanted to make sure I could sit still for that length of time. I passed REG but not FAR. But the practice test had nothing to do with either score in my opinion.

This is a re-take of BEC, so I took the Wiley final exam last time I took the exam , and now I switched the material to Becker. I was using CDs.

But thanks, I should be fine without a practice exam!
