As of now I just continually search “buzz words” from the question and go from there. Anyone have a solid suggestion? 🙂

Yup, I would search “buzzwords” or words that come directly from the research or simulation language.

From there, I will drill down to a relevant section and then I will use the “Search within” (which searches your current selection) feature on any other buzzwords that might be relevant to the question.

I've found many answers in both FAR and REG by continually and relentlessly searching.. I found a FAR simulation answer word-for-word in the AL. (The AL gave an example of said accounting transaction and the numbers/language was EXACTLY the same as what was asked in my Sim). I scored Higher in sims for FAR.. we'll see what happens for Reg.

Honestly, I find that some of the simulation questions are actually research questions. If you can search well enough, you'll find the answer you're looking for..
