This is standard operating procedure for linkspammers.

What they do is post gibberish posts on forums with random usernames. Some even just post kudos like “Your post is great, a super achievement of grammar and spelling!”

But remember, their goal is to get the links in. The links are placed throughout the post and in the profile and in the signature.

Why?

Because that's how Search Engine Optimization works. The more websites that link to your site, the higher rank your site goes. So a worthless website suddenly becomes #1 on the search results, and that means more sales to that site.
