Hey all,

Silly question, but on the AICPA web site there are a couple of Ethics courses to choose from. How do I know which one to buy? Should I call NASBA and ask which one is required for my state?\n

Sara: I think you buy Course code # 738394. However, I bought mine from my State Board of Accountancy (NM), not from AICPA.

you better call your state board....u dont want to spend 130 dollars twice\n

REG - 80; FAR - 65,79; AUD - 53,78; BEC - 71,68, 75 (used becker and yaeger for 3rd BEC)Ethics 95

I would check with your State board, not NASBA, since licensing is done at the state level. Mine allowed me to take either the State Ethics Exam or the AICPA's Ethics Exam. I ended up choosing the latter. Here is an excerpt from my order showing the product and number:

Professional Ethics: AICPA's Comprehensive Course : Text Product#: 732313

Costed about $140 including shipping, took 30 minutes to complete, lol....

Thanks for all your help. So I called the New York State Board of Accountancy and they told me you do not have to take the ethics exam until I am already licensed and register for it. Does that sound right to you guys? I recently passed so maybe they don't have my information sent yet? I sent my work experience forms over as well. I dunnoooo\n
