Which exam gave you the most trouble?

I think for me it was Audit. I got a 64 the first time after some poor studying, however I studied really hard for my rematch and changed my routine and felt like I knew everything, and only squeezed out a 75. I actually thought I scored a little better when I walked out.

So, which exam gave you the most trouble?

The exam that gave me the most trouble was clearly FAR. The first time I took it I didn't give myself enough time to study so I was actually surprised at how well I did considering. The second time I had some personal issues that took away from my studying so I wasn't really surprised my score went down, and I felt like my exam was a lot harder. The third time I was determined to pass before BEC expired and I increased my score 22 points! So glad to be done and licensed now, but it was well worth the struggle.

    FAR- 70, 68, 90
    AUD- 72, 85
    REG- 74, 83
    BEC- 81
    ETHICS- 90

For me, it's been Audit. I passed FAR and BEC on the first try. REG took me two tries. And I just took AUD for the third time on July 11th. Each of the first times I faced AUD I got a 72. I will be so disappointed if I don't get a 75 this time around. AUD is definitely my enemy. :/

    FAR: 84
    BEC: 88
REG: 33 (winged it, bad plan), 77
    AUD: 72 ,72, 81 FINALLY DONE!!!!!!

WI Ethics Exam Passed - 92!!!!

FAR. I passed the other 3 on the 2nd try all in a row and FAR is just not being nice to me.

    AUD: 84
    REG: 84
    BEC: 79
    FAR: 83

REG, most definitely. And now that I'm doing tax work, it would probably be the easiest section now.

So far it is FAR. I scored a 72, then 74, then finally an 82. I'm REALLY hopeful that the rest will be easier. I scored a 72 on REG in May. I've been studying for AUD and REG. I have been concentrating on AUD for 8/15. After I take that I'm going to concentrate on REG and give it another shot on 8/29.

    FAR - 7/13 - 72, 11/13- 74, 2/14- 82!!! Best score ever (for me)!!!
BEC - 1/14 - 75!!! Perfect score! First Pass! YAY!!!
    AUD - 8/14 - 80!!!
    REG - 5/14 - 72, 10/14 - 66, 1/15 - 78 - DONE FOREVER!!!
I did 5 of the UNA and CPAExcel classes to earn units.

FAR for sure – the material is so boring (to me, at least), which pushed my motivation to study down about as low as it could go. Glad it's out of the way now….

REG was the worst testing experience because I was sure I failed, even though I passed the first time around.

FAR was the worst preparation experience due to quantity of material.

And finally, AUD was the worst in general because it was the only one I failed and had to retake it 🙂

Even though I passed FAR on my first try I would say it was the hardest. Could be be because it was my first test.

I failed AUD twice before switching to Becker, but I will still say FAR is/was the hardest. I studied twice as hard as any other section because it was a struggle to grasp some of these topics and of course the huge amount of material. I am super confident i will get a passing score Friday but it took so much work to master all those topics and much more disciplined study habits to feel ready for FAR.

FAR – I had to increase my study habits significantly to pass it.

    Florida:
AUD: 73, 81! Thank you Lord!
BEC: 73, 77! Thank you Lord! and WTB
REG: 71, 82! Thank you Lord! and A71
FAR: 72, 78! Thank you God and my Mommy in Heaven!

My ranking of the exams (from hardest to slightly-less-than-hardest):

    1. AUD – I rated this most difficult on a conceptual level considering all the nuances I had to remember

    2. REG – I have a background in tax which helped a lot, but this was still a bear to study for

    3. FAR – From a pure time standpoint, nothing took more time to study for than FAR

    4. BEC – Fortunately, I have a lot of background in BEC topics. While they aren't as voluminous as FAR or REG, BEC topics couldn't be more scattered and disjointed. I think it's the wildcard exam for most people.

    REG - 89
    FAR - 84
    AUD - 73, 86
    BEC - 89
