i am taking reg 7/30. My intention is to pass, but to take advantage of the test windows, what would be the next section to study for. I would like to go for Far, then again I want to try Aud. I have taken and failed far miserably last year. So I am torn about the next step. I really want to take advantage of the test window. Even if I have to retake regwhat would be a good place to start.

The end of the window is August 31, I would recommend to take the section that will require the least amount of preparation time – BEC would be my general answer, but FAR is also a possibility if are you still comfortable with a majority of the material from your attempt last year.

How much time will you have to dedicate to studying? BEC from scratch in a solid three weeks might be feasible as long you have a lot of time to spare.

    REG: 78 (2/11/15)
    AUD: 86 (4/8/15)
    BEC: 88 (5/28/15)
    FAR: 89 (7/16/15)

    Study Materials: Becker Self Study

Average Study Time Per Exam: 5 weeks

I am in the really slow season….I have a few extensions to finish so I can go full time really. More suggestions please.

If you are taking it by the end of August I would recommend BEC. It should be doable with 1 month of studying.

I agree, BEC is doable in a month if you have plenty of time to study. AUD might be a push, but there's no math involved so if you're good at memorization, I'd give that a try too. I wouldn't try to push FAR given the amount of the material and how far removed you are from when you last took it. Start fresh and keep the focus. Good luck!

i think I might leave far for last, because I will need the full 6 to 8 weeks and definitely 2 weeks for review so that would eat up the rest of this window and September to test for October. I can see what you're saying, so the coin is sitting on Bec or Aud, I am checking score release to I can see if I will have time if I fail reg, or should I just go on.

Well, looks like score release is aug 20 so I guess I'll go on and not waste time waiting. The coin is still on Bec and Aud. Thanks gang.

I would suggest BEC or Audit. I studied for about 3 weeks for Audit and felt extremely well prepared. I am currently 2 weeks into studying for BEC and will be taking it in 6 days, and I already feel pretty well prepared for the exam and still have a week to review.

For FAR, I took 4 weeks to study for it and studied 8 hours a day. I felt very prepared for FAR with a 4 week study time- by the 3.5 week mark I was getting sick of studying because I drilled all the material into my brain and didn't really need the extra few days.

Overall, I would say either Audit or BEC. I personally think Audit is easier to comprehend in a short period than BEC..

I'd say it probably depends on what material you connect with and feel more comfortable with. I probably studied for BEC and AUD with about the same amount of time but felt AUD was much easier/less stressful to study for me.

    BEC - 02/21/15 - 82
    FAR - 05/29/15 - 82
    AUD - 07/09/15 - 93
    REG - 11/14/15 - 80

    All done!!!

After long and hard consideration, the coin fall to bec. I am going to get started on bec after my reg exam on Thursday. Well, not on Thursday, but Sunday or Monday. Looking forward to a swift but hectic August.

Good luck and study hard everybody.
