Which section next?

In April I took and failed (with a stinking 74) the FAR section. Because I jumped right into to studying for REG immediately after taking FAR, I went ahead and forged through with the REG material and just took the exam. Now my questions: 1) Should I wait until I get the REG score before studying for a different section, 2) If I do start studying for a different section should I go back to FAR or move onto a different one? I should note that FAR scares the crap out of me. Stupid 74!

Don't wait. It's a waste of precious time. FAR and REG cover similar topics but have different rules. In my opinion you should put a test between them. I'd suggest BEC. It's random and largely unrelated to FAR or AUD, which I believe should be taken in that order, because knowing FAR seems to help for AUD.

    REG 2/26/14 - 90
    BEC 4/08/14 - 92
    FAR 5/31/14 - 90
    AUD 7/09/14 -

FAR and REG have the most material, so I'd suggest alternating between them until you pass them both. Since I see on the forum that you just took REG in Q3, you won't be able to take that again (if even necessary) until Q4. You should have plenty of time if you start now to restudy for FAR and take that again in this window. You'll be glad to get both of those behind you and be able to focus on the other 2 later on.

    AUD 84 (1/9/14-Wiley books/TB + free materials)
FAR 83 (5/21/14-the above + NINJA 10 Pt Combo Lite)
    REG 84 (7/9/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC/Notes)
    BEC 76 (10/5/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC)

I agree with Kimboroni. Start restudying FAR right now and take it at the end of Aug. Knock out the two big guys first. You got a 74 and it was the first test you ever took, which means you really didn't know how best you studied yet. It took me until my 4th test to figure out how I studied best. You could definitely make a passing grade with 7 weeks to study for the retake.
