Which sections did and did not cause time constraints?

    I’ll start:

FAR – I was struggling to finish the SIMs before the clock ran out, but I did finish and review my work.

AUD – I left the testing center with over an hour left.

BEC – I would love to know. My best guess using the Becker Finals as a gauge is that I can probably get through the first 3 testlets in no more than 35 minutes each. Given a 15 minute allowance for pee break shenanigans, that would leave a full hour for the written portion.

I greatly appreciate all input. Thanks.

I used 40 mins give or take for each MC testlet, took no bathroom break (I don't know if I could even go to the bathroom I'd be such a nervous wreak, and then taking the time to get my brain back into test mode, I just think it's all not worth it for me), and had an hour left for the written portion, which was just perfect. Looked through the prompts, wrote the ones which came easily to me so I had them DONE, then moved on to the harder ones. Took a break from the harder ones to re-read the first ones I did to proof them one last time, went back and proofed/finalized the harder ones, and clicked out of the test with 3 minutes to spare. Hope this helps!

Also, I did not review each question like I had for previous exams, I only flagged the ones that I was unsure about and had notes for myself on my scratch paper about my debate. So I probably was finished working through each testlet in about 30-33 mins and used the last 10-7 mins to go back and check the ones I was unsure about.

BEC I remember needing pretty much every minute. FAR and REG I think I was able to review my SIMS with the last few minutes. AUD I was done 45 minutes early even after checking all my SIMS.

BEC - 1/14 - 75!!! Perfect score! First Pass! YAY!!!
    AUD - 8/14 - 80!!!
    REG - 5/14 - 72, 10/14 - 66, 1/15 - 78 - DONE FOREVER!!!
I did 5 of the UNA and CPAExcel classes to earn units.

Finished FAR, AUD, and BEC in about an hour and a half each. First crack at REG I think I had 20-30 minutes left, but had solid 1+ hours left this last time.

Don't worry about time so much-I have no doubt most people on this site are WAY better accountants than I am, I just happen to an incredibly good, fast test taker. If you finish with no time left or two hours left, they're all scored the same way in the end!!

    FAR - 75
    AUD - 72; 87
    REG - 64; 74; 84
    BEC - 88

    Done!!

FAR – finished in 2.5 hours

AUD – finished in 2 hours

Reg – finished in 2 hours

BEC – used every minute for those WC

My advice is to get through the mc as fast as possible. If you can't get the awnser in 2 min then guess and move on.

BEC – Finished in 2.25 hours with complete review of MCQS and written SIMS

REG – Finished in 2.5 hours with complete review of MCQs and SIMS

AUD – Finished with 2 minutes to spare and didn't have time to review all of the SIMS

FAR – Finished with 3 minutes to spare- didn't review all of the MCQs but did review all of the SIMS

AUD was the only exam I was worried about running out of time for during the entire exam (auditing is by far my weakest area) but I also had a moment of panic yesterday during FAR when I realized it took me nearly 50 minutes to get through the first testlet. Fortunately, I managed to pick up the pace and stopped thoroughly reviewing all of my MCQ answers, so I got to the SIMS with 2 hours left, which worked out perfectly.
