Does there seem to be any consensus on which segment of the CPA exam should be taken first? What is your impression on the different sections? Which one is the hardest, easiest, etc?

I did REG, BEC, FAR, AUD

Give yourself some time to feel out your best studying methods, what it's like to take an exam at the testing center, and the overall volume of content before you touch FAR. If you can pass REG/BEC, you're playing with house money for FAR the first time around.

Why be afraid of what we do not understand?

I took FAR first after hearing it was the hardest, and it was tough due to the sheer amount of information that can be tested. However, I made the mistake of leaving REG for last and I have been stuck on it for a while. From what I've read in this forum I think most people would agree to take FAR and REG first and fit the other two in between. Don't get me wrong, AUD and BEC are still tough exams but most people seem to struggle with the REG and FAR. Good luck!

    AUD: 65, 91!?
    BEC: 80! Aaaand doneskies!

    May 2012 to August 2013. Can't believe it's over.

AUD if your tax and REG if your an auditor. My theory was to get the hardest out of the way. Did work out that way though.

    FAR 69, 74, 78
    REG 69, 69, 69, 82
    BEC 75
    AUD 76

I think the concensus is that FAR is the hardest, so I wanted to get that out of the way first. Remember the 18 month clock starts ticking as soon as you pass the first exam. I'd recommend FAR, then REG. Plus I'm finding what you learn in FAR shows up in the other sections.

Becker, Wiley Test Bank, and Ninja 10 Point Combo!

    FAR: 89
    REG: 87
    AUD: 92
    BEC: 75
    Ethics: 90

@deano – well i finally passed this time using the Roger Cram course, so it must've been pretty good.
