My guess that a very high percent of test takers work in public (or in private with a calendar year end) and the work/study demands are most unbalanced during Q1.

    FAR- 77
    AUD -49, 71, 84
    REG -56,75!
    BEC -75

Massachusetts CPA (non reporting) since 3/12.

exactly what mla said, combined with the fact that college kids are graduating in May and sitting for the exam in Q3 right after finishing school.

    🙂

I spoke to an ancient wise man who sent me on a mushroom induced journey through an ancient forest to find the key to passing the CPA exam. A talking spider monkey told me to throw the last of my drinking water in the dirt to find what I was looking for. So I followed his instructions and the following message appeared in the soil:

"Do 5000 multiple choice questions for each section"

Since scores are compared to other test takers, this should give those of us not working in the field (yet) some advantage- right (crossing fingers)

    3XBEC:75 * 4XREG:82 * 4XFAR:76 * 7XAUD:77

That is what I said @G3 and then I found what I perceived to be the answer and replaced my response with a smiley face.

Looks like the passing amount of “points” is predetermined for the most part and the same for all quarters. For example if you get X amount of hard questions and X amount of medium questions plus a 20 percent on the Sims you will pass in whatever quarter. The questions and the Sims may be different but the overall amount of points you need to achieve is the same. I may be wrong but that was my interruption.
