you have to re-register under Ohio otherwise it doesn't work
I didn't mean as a short cut to see if you passed. I mean have you tried to reregister under WI to actually register to take more exams? Has it worked for anyone? It doesn't work for anyone I have talked to. They have to call the 800 number to register.
oh i see what you mean. i don't think it lets anyone re-register under any other state other than ohio until you receive confirmation in the mail that you did not pass. did you try to re-register under ohio? i am just curious if the ohio loophole works for wisconsin residents.
Yeah I tried under Ohio for the shortcut. I would be able to register for all of the sections even though I have passed Reg and haven't signed up to take FAR or AUD yet so it doesn't work for me. It does work for my friend though. When she puts in her SS# her name autopopulates mine doesn't.
I think you are supposed to be able to sign up online for sections you haven't taken under the reregister once you have taken one test. At least that is what the directions say on the first page of the reregister. Calling it reregistration is deceiving since potentially you can sign up for sections not yet taken.
And the wait continues.....
Has anyone gotten their scores from wave 1 in the mail? I'm guessing they wait to send them out until all scores are released and just mail them in one big batch.
and continues.......
WI CPA, I just got my score from wave 1 in the mail last week.
hm890 - what day of the week did you receive it, and for what section was it?
i just heard that WI has had our scores for a week but is debating on releasing at the end of next week. i have no idea why. this is ridiculous.
Where are you hearing this from. My thought would be we'd get it by the begining of the next testing window which would be wednesday.
Yes that is true....I wish they'd release scores sooner. It's so hard hearing candidates have their scores when they tested at the same time you did and you're still waiting.
my friend said he called nasba and that's what they told him. i'm just banking on the ohio loophole for now. it worked for every other state and nasba obviously has our scores so i don't know why it wouldn't be working. it would be nice to have some confirmation, though.
My understanding is that WI waits to release scores to candidates until they have received scores for all sections for that wave of the testing window. I think FAR was the last score to get released last week so I'm not sure what the hold up is.
Bucky: Were you able to check the box next to the score you're waiting on when you experimented with the "ohio loophole"?
it wouldn't let me register at all. it just said "We are sorry. Currently all sections of this exam are still in process. If you have questions, please call your Coordinator at the number given below". it seems that when other people got that messag from other states, they ended up passing. i don't want to jinx myself, though. this wait is brutal
May I ask if this is the last score you need? If you don't want to say it's ok. I'm just curious because I haven't passed any parts yet (finally started back up taking tests with last window) and I don't get that message at all, but I don't think I should be getting that because I don't have any parts passed. I'm just totally confused on how that loophole works. :)
I just wish WI would just told me I failed so I can get geared up to sit again in the next window.
yeah this is my last part. however, people were saying that if it was not there last part and they passed, the section would be greyed out and they wouldn't be able to register for it. hope that helps.
WI CPA - I received it Friday, 6/25 I believe and it was for Audit.
Yeah thats what I heard through rumblings on this forum...and my only boxes that were greyed out were the two parts that I have an NTS for. So my best bet is that I need to take it again...I just want to know how far off I was.
You hadn't tried it prior to your last part did you? I realize that it probably works for WI (based on the fact that I could not re-apply for my next two parts that I have my NTS for) but I just question it a bit because no one seems to be able to confirm this for WI unless it's their last part.
my friend can't re-register either but it seems as if no one else is responding whether it works for them or not. i hadn't tried the loophole in the past.
Well, if the state ever officially tells me I failed, I will gladly confirm it because I can check my AUD box. :( Hopefully the next time around I will have the opposite confirmation.
I have tried the loophole for my last 2 exams. The first was REG and it was the last test on that NTS. When I tried to re-register REG was greyed out and I could only select BEC and AUD. For AUD it wouldn't let me go in to re-register at all, it gave me the same message bucky posted about above.
I took AUD 5/27 and it is my last section. When I try the loophole I get the same message @bucky mentioned above "We are sorry. Currently all sections of this exam are still in process. If you have questions, please call your Coordinator at the number given below" I wish there was some explanation as to why WI waits so much longer compared to other states. I don't see any advantage but maybe the WI BOA feels there is?
And the wait still continues......
WI SCORES ARE POSTED. I PASSED BEC WITH A 75!!!!!! WOOOOOHOOOOOO!!!!
Mine still isn't posted. Is anyone else still waiting?
I have one friend who got hers and one who is still waiting both for Audit. Which one are you waiting for?
i'm waiting for audit too. i thought that the reason we wait so long is because they all get downloaded at the same time.
