When did most of you finish the lectures and MCQ/SIMS in the material? I am about 55% through my material with 31 days left. I want to spend the remaining time going over the Ninja MCQ and really hitting the stuff I stuggle with. I guess you can call it my final review. Those of you that used Wiley, did you strictly stick to the schedule or did you finish before the recommended assignement dates? My schedule has me finishing just 7 days before the exam, seems kinda late to me. My goal is to be done going through new material 2 weeks before and save those last 2 weeks for review of stuff I struggle with. What do you all think? I don’t know many people studying for the exams, so you guys are a huge help.

The schedule in CPAExcel is ridiculous. Unless you're studying full-time (not working), 1 week is definitely not enough time to review. I finish the lessons 2 weeks before my exam, so I can start doing final reviews. I'm taking 3 weeks of final review with FAR.

    AUD: 84 - Oct. 2013
    BEC: 83 - Feb. 2014
    REG: 91 - May, 2014
    FAR: 68, 96 - Oct. 2014...DONE

    CPAExcel, Ninja Audio (all sections)

That's what I thought. I do a section, then MCQ, go over those that i missed and be sure I conceptually understand it, do them again, then go through the SIMS. I don't do well at all on the Sims first time around. I guess I use them more as a learning tool?? IDK. Then I go through NINJA MCQ and hit those with the section I just studied.

We'll see I guess…. first exam in 30 days from today

I actually kind of disagree. I like the 1 week to review – otherwise I start overthinking and stressing if I have longer than that. At least leading up to that final lesson, I have a deadline, a goal, it makes it easier to think “one step in front of the other,” one lesson at a time, etc, and I don't panic as much. Once I've completed all my lessons and my lesson plan has green boxes next to all the topics, that's when I start to review. I go back to the topics that I rated as low stars and I redo those MC/TBS. I also try to do the diagnostics tests at the beginning of each section to test whether I remember the earlier material.

It'd different for everyone. I just find that it's easier to complete all lessons 100% and then review for 1 week, rather than spending several weeks reviewing and repeating MC/TBS
