Wiley Test Bank – How is it best to use it?

I am about to buy the Wiley Test Bank, I would like to know what your input is on the most efficient way to plow through the questions. I was thinking blocks of 30 questions and one sim daily, one topic per day. So for example 30 questions and one sim on individual taxation, next day 30 on corporate tax for example, you get the picture. Then at the end to do like 3 full exams with the cumulative material. I want to do that for both REG and FAR, do you think that is the best way? Let me know what worked best for you.

    FAR - 71, 68, 74, (8/31/14) 78 āœ”
    REG - 67, 71, 71, (10/18/14) 78 āœ”
    BEC - (11/29/14) 86 āœ”
    AUD - 73, (4/4/15) 86 āœ”

I can't believe this is over! 2 years and 3 months..

The way I used it is the way that Jeff outlines in his study plan: after watching all the videos and taking notes, I just did MCQs for about two weeks. My goal was to get in about 300 a day. I didn't do any of the sims except for AUD, just to get a feel for what the sims might be like on AUD.

How do you do 300mcq/day? where you working back then?

I mean if each question takes 1 minute, that's 5 hours non-stop mcq.

    FAR - 71, 68, 74, (8/31/14) 78 āœ”
    REG - 67, 71, 71, (10/18/14) 78 āœ”

I used Wiley as a supplement. I went through every CPAExcel lesson/MC/simulation first (roughly 1 1/2 months to get through it), then reviewed my CPAExcel MCs/Notes, and then used Wiley Test Bank for the last week of review before the test to give me maybe different topics CPAExcel didn't cover or just more practice.

see i did 20-30 at a time. then went back through each questions reading the reasons behind the correct/incorrect responses and then did another 20-30 etc etc. each set of 20-30 would take about an hour counting all the time reading the reasons. i wouldnt recommend just doing obscene amounts of Qs because all that happens is you start recognizing Qs so you get them right (which gives you the false sense that you are doing better on the Qs when you are actually just getting better at memorizing them). if you go through more methodically you leave a certain amount of Qs left that you havnt seen yet. I used these to do a couple practice tests the week before my exam to gauge how well i was actually doing (since i had not seen these Qs yet) and to identify weak areas.

Passed Aud on the third try and it was only after i switched from the “pound as many m/cs as possible till you cant see straight” to the more methodical method.

    just my $.02….everyone learns differently

    AUD - 75
    BEC - 77
    FAR - 78
    REG - 82
    AUD: 61-67-75 (Thanks ninja aud)
    BEC: 77
    FAR: 78
    REG:69-73-70-82

    Aud-75 3x I knew i never liked you
Bec-77 1x being in the bubble is stressful
Reg-82 4x its not me its you...and no we cant be friends
    Far-78 1x easiest section

The last section I took was BEC and according to the WTB stats, it took me about 45 seconds on average to answer a question. I was working full time while studying and taking the exam.
