Uhm, I can't speak for the new Wiley, but based on the previous Wiley multiple choice CD's I'd say Gleim all the way! I think each review course has it's strong points, and while Gleim can be a little more boring and less unintuitive than some of the others in terms of the material and its delivery of the information (In my opinion), their test prep CD is amazing! You can really manipulate the kinds of questions you get, i.e. questions from specific study areas, questions you've never seen before, questions you've continuously gotten wrong, questions you may have just skipped, etc. You can also manipulate the test environment, such as study environment or test environment. In the study environment, you get instant feedback on your answers whether they are correct or not and the reason each answer choice is either correct or incorrect. In the test environment, you don't get to see whether your answers are correct or not until the end and then you can create study sessions, accordingly. The screen is also pleasing to look at (as pleasing as multiple choice questions can be) and the software is easy to use.
The old Wiley was everything a multiple choice test bank should NOT be!
Wiley's new online test bank is a big improvement over past stuff.
Big improvement.
pls guys are thr any differences in the mcs bcos some suggest to get both or one over the other...............wiley 2010 was extremely difficult to impossible for me to install....................it sucked all of my precious time................the simulation scoring is weird and frustrating bcos u fill the blank and then u cant figure out the correct answers

You are studying for Auditing right? There are some questions in the Wiley test bank that are in the Wiley textbook. However, make sure that you finish all the recommended MCQ's in the Wiley textbook before using the test bank. I BARELY use the Wiley software in Auditing and NEVER use it in FAR. I used Gleim instead in my FAR review. In simulation, if you took FAR and already passed it you will be fine. Most of the simulation are like FAR sims. Be sure to know the concepts.
I've seen instances of the same questions in the Gleim Test Prep that I saw in the Wiley Text books when studying REG and FAR. I never used Wiley for Auditing or BEC, so I don't know. So in my opinion, the questions overlap and I don't think you need both. It looks like the new Wiley may have about 1,000 questions for each section, but Gleim generally has anywhere from 1,700 to about 2,300 questions per section, depending on the section. Once again, I'd choose Gleim, for multiple choice questions... but I guess you'll miss out on the sims.
You said you're having issues with Wiley 2010. Is this the same as the online test bank? I know the old wiley had some major issues. The sims were hard to follow (but that is sometimes the case with the real exam, so maybe that was the strategy there ;-) and sometimes the answers in the sims were just plain wrong. If you're using an older version, you might want to look into the new one, since Jeff said it has major improvements.
i got my 2010 wiley test bank for free from yaeger while purchasing thr hs , so maybe i'll use it to study for 2011 and supplement with wiley 2011 and 2010 test book since im using 2010 yaeger hs............
...the new ifrs doesnt seem like much from the 2011 wiley textbook and i hear its not heavily tested yet.....................................
I received the 2011 Wiley Test bank from Yaeger HS. I have installed the cd-rom on my computer, which works very well. Previously I ever thought to buy Gliem MCs as supplementary. But I like Wiley's style. But my friend told me that one of his friends ever used the 2009 Gliem package to pass 2010 test with over 90%. Sounds gleim is not a bad choice. Even my advisor highly recommended Gleim. Instead,my school friends recommended the BECKER. But I selected the Yaeger. Hope this would be a right choice for myself!BTW, I like Cindy's lecture, really refreshing my minds. The lectures really give me more confidence for the incoming exams.
I used the 2010 wiley test bank to review for both FAR and AUD and it worked for me. I used the study option mainly because I liked how the explanation came up right away. It's a good way of reviewing the material efficiently.
