    NINJA Question –

Which is better representation of the exam. My exam date is in exactly 1 week from today. I decided to start doing some practice exams to help me get used to the layout of the exam. In addition, I am having a hard time using the AL on both of the software.

Any comments or suggestions would be very helpful.

Lastly, what were your practice exam scores compared to the actual exam scores?

    Thanks in advance.

    ….FAR? REG ? BEC ? AUG?

….and which software do you use?

Practice Exams are good for you, but you will only have to do it once to know the layout. As long as you manage to finish the test before time runs out it's good enough, you don't have to keep practicing in exam mode….?

I would like to follow this post too.

I'm using Becker and Wiley for BEC. The practice questions are so different in each that I feel extremely unprepared.

My exam is in one week.

    FAR - 86 - 2/27/14
    AUD - 75 - 5/29/14
    BEC - 80 - 8/31/14
    REG - 89 - 2/27/15
    Praise Jesus! I'm done!!

Only used ninja for REG, but had passed the others before ninja came out so I can't really say. I can say Wiley is great for everything, but only ok for REG (pushes business law too much, considering most of exam is tax). I've used both for REG and have no doubt the combination of ninja mcq and notes helped me pass this last time – would absolutely recommend ninja over Wiley for REG, but no opinion on other sections.

    FAR - 75
    AUD - 72; 87
    REG - 64; 74; 84
    BEC - 88

Longshot's post just changed my study routine for the next 6 weeks. Going to use NINJA for REG. Thanks for taking the time to write that!!

I didnt use any REG stuff besides the ninja mcq; so they appear to be sufficient

Good luck, blandrover123!! Used Yaeger review and Wiley book/test bank for everything except my 3rd/last REG attempt where I went 100% ninja 10 point combo. So, take that for ya will…apparently the 10 point combo will, in fact, get ya 10 points:)

    FAR - 75
    AUD - 72; 87
    REG - 64; 74; 84
    BEC - 88

Thanks! Quick question though. How did you use the NINJA MCQ? Did you just keep doing random sets of MCQ or topic by topic? Also, when did you do the ninja sims?

I did random sets of mcq questions I hadn't attempted yet. Would usually do about 30-45 minutes worth at a time-by the way, I absolutely loved the option of doing them by time instead by number of questions!! I did start doing by topic when I got to about 20-40 questions left unanswered by topic (never did attempt every question, but did attempt every tax question at least once). Never touched the sims until the end and spent about the last 2 or 3 study nights doing nothing but sims. At that point I'd pretty well gotten mcq down and wanted to get used to sim format again at the end.

    FAR - 75
    AUD - 72; 87
    REG - 64; 74; 84
    BEC - 88

    Done!!
