I have completed my Bcom from University of Mumbai(India) which is a three year course. I have also enrolled for a diploma in Financial Management which has two semesters. I also plan to do my MACC in the year 2014. Will i have enough credits to appear for the exam? Also which state would be the best for me to apply from.

After all that, you may – or may not – have the requirements to write the exam. You'll need to check with specific states since the specific requirements vary from state to state. It's always best to ask the state board to take a look at your transcripts to ensure you are qualified since it's THEIR interpretation of your classes that matters. I thought I had way more credits than they say I had.

I would suggest ur best option is Montana. although the requirement for license and certificate is 150 credit hours but in order to sit for the exam they require 24 credit hours in accounting and the same in business which I think u should be able to get them easily and once u complete ur MACC u can avail the extra credit hours and get the license/ certificate, if u want one. new Hampshire is also admitting ppl with 120 credit hours bachelors and they require only 12 hours in accounting and 12 in business however their requirement will change from next june.
