Will my offer be rescinded?

I have accepted a full time from the accounting firm where I interned this past summer. As of now, I am doing terribly in one of my accounting courses that I am taking as P/NP. I’m thinking about doing a late drop and was wondering if this could put my full time offer at risk. What if I decide to continue with the course and end up not passing? Any input or advice would be appreciated.

I doubt it as long as you have a valid reason and that's the only bad class on your transcript.

A buddy of mine failed one of her accounting courses her senior year and she took the class for a letter grade. She retook the class and passed. Nothing happened to her. If you end up not passing, just retake it next semester/quarter and you'll be fine.

There is no way to know for sure but I find it extremely unlikely that they would recind the offer. If you had no intern experience I would be a little worried but since they have seen you work and clearly like you enough to make an offer I don't see a p/f class impacting you. If you are concerned though just do a late drop (especially if you dont need the class for anything in particular) and if they ask just make something up…like…you took the class as an elective and it just wasn't interesting or challenging…

    MBA,CMA,CPA, CFF?, ABV?
