Women, where to buy career jackets?

I’ve searched the clothing threads can’t find where to buy career jackets/Blazers for women. I’ve seen these lately with a different color trim, bright colored, etc. I don’t mean typical suit jacket but more of a mix and match that still looks professional. Anyone?

I love White House – Black Market ones. They are pretty and professional jackets. I have looked everywhere and that is the only place I found where jackets do not look like they were cut for men 🙂

If you're looking for something a little more laid-back, I like a lot of the ones at H&M. Economical ($40-$60/jacket I think), and so far seem to hold up really well. I've found a couple that I can dress up or dress down, and they look great either way. 🙂

I like Banana Republic. They have some cute traditional but in fun designs/colors. However, they are on the expensive side so I usually wait until they have a suiting sale.

I've seen certain blazers where the collar is leather but it looks like a normal blazer. It gives it a very nice edgy feel. I've seen it at ASOS. I have 2 black blazers, both from Macy's. Good quality. I really like their Calvin Klein collection. Other places I normally buy from is LOFT. They're a little pricey as well but I normally wait for their sale, which is NOW… 40% off. Also, I follow extrapetite.com for fashion ideas. I'm not petite but her selections are nice.

@skynet – yes, but sometimes it gets chilly and you need a blazer.

I second White House Black Market! Express is another one of my go-to's. And I'm not afraid to admit that I sometimes cave and buy work clothes at Target–unfortunately they tend not to last as long, though.

I second The Limited – only because of their sales. They have major discounts and the clothes are good quality and last long.

Banana Republic hands down. If you have an outlet near you that's even better.

The limited, New York and Company, and Target. I've even gotten a couple from Old Navy but the material isn't as good. But they work! Oh, and Kohl's 🙂
