Hey guys I have a question for you all regarding the work requirement to get your license (I'm in California, and haven't been able to find any specifics on this through the forms or websites).
\nBasically, I'm going into consulting, not public accounting, and not corporate accounting. I will be working for http://www.factset.com who are a consulting firm for investment bankers/fund managers/research analysts etc.
\nBasically it's a consulting role in finance, which satisfies the general experience requirement according the the CA state work experience form.
\nHere is my dilemma, the office I'm working for has no CPA's, my supervisor won't be a CPA, and basically I won't be working with any CPA's even though my job will qualify for the work requirement. There are, however, CPA's in our firm at higher levels and in other offices (it's publicly traded and global). Is there any way to get the form signed by a non CPA (supervisor) to state I've done the work, and then the second signature be from an actual CPA from the firm whom I haven't worked with?
