Hi Everybody!
I am retaking BEC for the 2nd time on Oct. 2, and to be honest I am REALLY getting nervous and starting to psyche myself out. My first time taking the exam was Nov. last year, and let’s just say it was a bad day all the way around. I ran out of time due to spending too much time on the MCQs (didn’t watch my time) and didn’t complete all of the WC. I walked out of the exam knowing I didn’t pass and what was even worse was I chose to back to work (don’t ever do that, BTW) and one of the Partners yelled at me because he was angry at another staff member. So to chalk it up, my boss was in a bad mood and took it out on me; and yes he knew I had just taken the exam. I am worried about failing and feel overwhelmed by the content of the exam. Everyone knows that BEC is the “strange bird” out of all the sections. The one bright spot to re-taking the exam is I feel I understand the concepts a little better the second time around. Well that, and I discovered the Another 71 family, which has been helpful. I read the book twice, Gleim, I just need to get into review mode. Does anyone have any advice to on how to handle retake jitters and/or how to really solidify those concepts and formulas before Thurs? All suggestions are welcomed and appreciated. Good luck to everyone out there! 🙂
