Worst Score Actually Received?

What do you think is the worst score anyone has ever actually received on a section? The AICPA states that it’s a range from 0-99. I’ve heard of people getting 99, but has anyone really been given a score of 0? If you answered the MCQ randomly, and left the SIMs blank, would you really even get a 0? What’s the lowest score anyone out there has personally received?

0 would be no easier than a 99 lol, the lowest I've heard of was in the 20's or 30's I can't remember for sure.

    FAR - 71, 68, 74, (8/31/14) 78 ✔
    REG - 67, 71, 71, (10/18/14) 78 ✔
    BEC - (11/29/14) 86 ✔
    AUD - 73, (4/4/15) 86 ✔

I can't believe this is over! 2 years and 3 months..

Once, I took BEC without studying. Received a 52. That was actually my first exam. I actually believed I could skate through these like I did with high school and college.

If you no-show for your exam you get a 0. I never did it, but I see people on here that did all the time.

Haha. I only hope you don't have to feel the same pain.

But it doesn't matter anymore. I'm done forever. 🙂

The lowest I heard of someone that took the exam was 10. I think it's not possible to get a zero if you sit for the exam, apparently because of some statistical calculations they perform (0 would skew the results, or something).

Don't cite me but that's what I heard or misheard

    CPA - Since 2015
    CISA - Smashed 2012
    CIA - Passed 2015

    @CPA means Cant Pass Again

I've done a no-show and haven't received a 0. It just doesn't post the score in NASBA central

    and co-sign what @stoleway said

    BEC - ✔
    REG - ✔
    AUD - ✔
    FAR - 11/29/14

CPAExcel, Ninja MCQs, and a sh*t ton of coffee

I agree with stoleway. 74 is my worst nightmare, and 75 is a perfect score. Everything else is meaningless!

@005: Did you just let your NTS expire, or actually schedule an exam and then not go to it?

If the latter, I guess people I've seen on here just self-graded themselves to 0. My mistake!!

I'll concur with the 74's being the worst.. I had back to back 74's in FAR. One of which caused me to lose REG. I'd rather have had a 47, or a 3 for that matter. They blow. Chunks.

    Licensed Florida CPA:
    B: 71, 73, 79
    A: 83
    R: 78 (expired), 77
    F: 74, 74, 80

    It's finally freaking over.

I've done a no show = 0 and I've also received a 74. I agree the 74 feels BAD! You worked so hard, came so close, you still didn't pass. The no show was no work at all just money down the toilet.

    FAR - 7/13 - 72, 11/13- 74, 2/14- 82!!! Best score ever (for me)!!!
BEC - 1/14 - 75!!! Perfect score! First Pass! YAY!!!
    AUD - 8/14 - 80!!!
    REG - 5/14 - 72, 10/14 - 66, 1/15 - 78 - DONE FOREVER!!!
I did 5 of the UNA and CPAExcel classes to earn units.

Check it out. Back in 2006 after failing AUD and BEC with doing only mimimal study. I scheduled FAR and REG on back to back days and gave up trying about a third of the way through each test. I made a decision during both of those tests that the CPA exam was too hard for me and I gave up. Boy am I glad I jumped back on the horse, because now I am almost done!

    AUD - 81(5/29/13)
    BEC - 76(10/13/13)
    FAR - 70(4/1/13), 68(7/2/13), 81(2/28/14)
    REG - 65(5/30/14), 73(8/31/14), 83(10/8/14) DONE!!!
