Worth following up again?

So I talked to a recruiter at a firm a while ago about a job and he said to contact him again April 16th (when I was closer to graduation). A week has gone by now since I sent the follow up email and I haven’t heard anything back. Should I send another or move on?

I say there is nothing to lose. When I was starting the recruiting process I played everything safe. I wrote standard cover letters and never aggressively went after anything. After 13 rejections I changed my strategy and wrote bold cover letters and followed up more aggressively. This earned me 2 interviews of which I got 1 offer…..

Now I was ruthlessly fired after the tax deadline with no warning at all, but that first job opened up my opportunity at the wonderful firm I am at now. No way I would be where I am at without getting more assertive.

So……I'd say you can only help yourself by folowing up!
