    Resume: https://i.imgur.com/jaoD8MF.png

Im looking to work full-time in audit, I graduate in a month with a Master degree, my graduate GPA is 3.36 and Undergrad overall GPA is 3.09 and major GPA is 3.4. I also have one section of the CPA exam passed. I’m trying to land a job with one of the Big 4 or regional/mid/large size firms, but I’m having no luck. I’ve applied to 10 firms through my school website and so far I haven’t been invited for any interviews, in total 5 firms didn’t invite me (2 from Big 4, 1 from a large firm, and 2 from mid-size). I have a friend at a Big 4 who referred me and he got a call immediately from the recruiter just wanting to know what industry I chose…but that was almost a week ago and no word on if the recruiter is interested. So I’m starting to think my resume is a problem.

The first time I networked was at a meet and greet in the spring, and this is my first time doing on campus recruiting. I’ve gone to both of my schools career fairs (school has multiple campuses) and most of the information sessions. I consider myself pretty social and likable, I’ve made good connections at these events, especially with all of the Big 4. I’ve made an effort to try and speak to every associate, regardless of their line of service, just so I can get my name out there. So I’m not really sure why I am not getting anything, I felt that I made a really good impression and showed how my experience translates to the position. Now I’m looking at different cities and cold emailing associates from the firms that didn’t invite me and asking if they would be willing to talk to me about their experience over coffee or by phone. All year I’ve been struggling to even get a single interview for an AP role, so I’m starting to lose hope now that I will be out of school. Heck…I’m even considering stopping by in person to drop off my resume, even though I don’t like this idea

    Any advice is appreciated
