I got a 62 on FAR. Just received my performance report today. It indicates that I have “Weaker” performance in ALL areas. So how the **** did I get a 62? After thinking about it for a few moments, my mind told me “Are these pity points? That’s got to be it.” You guys are right. This really doesn’t tell me jack ****!

Btw, this destroyed my study mode for BEC

FAR - 62 (10/2/13), 50 (5/30/14)
AUD - 73 (10/30/13), 66 (5/6/14)
REG - 69 (4/8/14)
BEC - 66 (2/27/13), 73 (4/21/14)

All that means is you are weaker then someone who got between 75-80. Trust me i would rather all weaker then getting a 74 and all stronger with one weaker, then why didn't I pass! All I use my score reports for is motivation when I go for round 2, I print it out and hang it above my study space at home and use it when I feel like giving up to give myself a kick in the a$$. DO NOT let this get you down as you study for BEC, different topics, different exam, if you need to take the night off relax have a drink, but tomorrow get back in to beast mode and kill this exam!

This is my 2nd attempt at the exam, I had two parts passed (failed many) and I stupidly quit, big mistake. Now I'm back and with a vengeance!

My advice is forget BEC and attack FAR on January 1st with vengeance. That way you don't lose all that precious information still in your head.

I spoke to an ancient wise man who sent me on a mushroom induced journey through an ancient forest to find the key to passing the CPA exam. A talking spider monkey told me to throw the last of my drinking water in the dirt to find what I was looking for. So I followed his instructions and the following message appeared in the soil:

"Do 5000 multiple choice questions for each section"

Don't take that report too seriously. I found them essentially useless. No matter what they say, you have to re-study everything.

I don't know how accurate the report is, I've taken FAR 2 times and got same score 69. First report said comparable in 2 areas, second one said stronger in 2 areas and comparable in 1. Got the same score, was very mad about that.
