I’m freaking out slightly. Has everyone experienced that the Wiley Test Bank multiple choice for FAR are really hard? On average I have been getting in the 70’s on 30 question quizzes, with the occasional 65 or score over 80. I’m seriously hoping that the real thing (even the harder testlets) are easier, otherwise I’m in trouble. Can anyone describe how the WTB compares to the real easy, medium, hard testlets? I’ve seen old posts that WTB tends to be harder and I’m hoping this is still the case. Hopefully, someone who has recently taken the test can chime in.

Having taken the exam 3xs already without the use of WTB and now using WTB, I can definitely say the WTB MCQs are harder. It's bad because it makes you worry that you won't do well come exam time, but it's good because if you buckle down and get decent scores with WTB I'm pretty sure you're going to do well on the actual exam…

at least that's what I'm hoping for : /

I used Becker previously and the Becker MCQ for FAR were nowhere near as wordy as Wiley's.

How do you think the SIMS compare? I do well on WTB SIMS, but I hear and read horror stories about far sims…

Wiley test bank is harder than the real exam. The sims are a joke though compared to the real thing. Wiley's book questions are harder than the test bank, and the test bank is harder than the exam. I recommend doing all of the sims in the Wiley book. Some of the book questions within Wiley are incredibly long, wordy and difficult.

WTB is just overall harder in general. I was rocking Becker MCQ's and then decided to supplement with Wiley. Wiley was much more intense. However, after doing non-stop WTB questions up until the day before my exams I have found the exam to be much easier in comparison.

Are you taking 30 MCQ tests over the entire material or by mudule? I would suggest taking small 20 MCQ test over sections. Say 20 over investments, 20 over fixed assets, and so on. This will help you determine your weak section, and hit them a couple more times until higher scores. Then move on to the next weak subject.
