Wiley Question –
Yaeger has a special which includes the full review course, all 4 cram courses, flashcards, USBs, and an iPad mini for $1,997
Is this a good deal? I plan to start sitting for the CPA exams in July/August and am considering either Yaeger or CPAexcel. Anyone have any success with Yaeger or CPAexcel? Which course would you recommend?

I think Yaeger is a good video program, but before you invest you should figure out whether or not you will learn more from reading or watching lectures. Yaeger doesn't offer much outside the lectures. I would choose CPAexcel over Yaeger. Also keep in mind that used Yaeger videos can often be purchased $100 per section on EBAY. I think you can use anything after 2011 for Financial and BEC. You will need 2013 Yaeger videos for Audit. REG is a mystery to me. It might be worth trying used videos for FAR and BEC to get a feel for the program.
I spoke to an ancient wise man who sent me on a mushroom induced journey through an ancient forest to find the key to passing the CPA exam. A talking spider monkey told me to throw the last of my drinking water in the dirt to find what I was looking for. So I followed his instructions and the following message appeared in the soil:
"Do 5000 multiple choice questions for each section"

We just had a becker rep come to our campus and only 2 out of 60 accounting majors are gonna buy it and 1 is because his work is buying it. They should do a resell program, they are missing a huge part of the market.
BEC - PassedAUD - 74 🙁
REG - TBD
FAR - TBD
BEC 8/14/14 - Passed
Graduated from college 12/13/14
AUD 8/31/15 - 74. Retake - Passed

April 1, 2014 at 1:37 pm #542383yourmomsaCPAParticipantI used strictly Yaeger (no additional MCQ's, WTB, etc) for FAR and it was fine. I think I got an easier exam though. Yaeger has 3 different instructors so one section could be great while the other not so much. Cindy does the majority of FAR and she's the bomb diggity. Gary does auditing and his style is the opposite of Cindy but I'm pretty comfortable with the AUD material (we'll see tomorrow!). I'm always surprised when people complain about boring videos. OF COURSE they're boring! It's accounting….A LOT OF ACCOUNTING. The FAR videos are like 50 hours. You can't spice that up! You know yourself. You have to Jedi mind trick YOURSELF to get through that much accounting video (I can hardly sit through a 2 hour movie that is created for entertainment purposes). I watch them but don't connect to the internet and my phone is across the room. No tv or radio. The material is hard enough to grasp as it is…
