Oh and you know you're a CPA candidate when it's all you talk about, it's like word vomit. I went from being your average college student and talking about fun things, to suddenly incorporating my misery into every conversation. && I've been telling all my MAcc friends about another71.com since it has been my support!

Thanks for the bday wishes! Yeah I only forgot about it for 2 hours this morning and then I checked my Facebook and was like oh yeahh that is today......pretty pathetic considering I'm not even in my 30's yet, unacceptable! :)

You know you're a CPA candidate when you you start having nightmares about being attacked by the material. Like, literally attacked. As in, words and numbers hitting you over the head relentlessly and your review book spitting pages at you. In one dream my boyfriend was being kidnapped by a qualified audit opinion and I had to rewrite it to unqualified to release him. No joke. This has happened to me on more than one occasion...

When you schedule everything around studying.

When friends and family have to read your Facebook status to see how you're doing cause they don't want to call you in case you're in the middle of a study session.

when having the most awesome day means you got in 100 MCQs.

@onefreakinpoint, funny, I had a nightmare about FAR. One of the mcq problems involved watching a youtube video of a green dinosaur and clicking on the screen to find hidden objects. Only, my computer wouldn't load the video and so it ate up all of my time, leaving me no time to start on the simulations. I had argued with the prometric people but they said that it was all my fault. Now, I really hate green dinosaurs.

Anyway, I will interpret this dream as a sign to allocate my time wisely.

When you start imagining the journal entry for anything and everything that comes up in conversation...

"I just put down $XX on an apartment today and they gave me X% off first month's rent!!"

Ok...so the lessor debits cash and credits refundable deposit and then the lessee has to add up all the rent payments and divide by the period of the lease to figure out monthly rent payable...

If I wasn't sitting at my computer at work I would be laughing histerically right now...I will read this every time I need a laugh, you guys are awesome! Can't believe I just got into this site...there are people who feel just like me! lol

when...instead of counting sheep to sleep you review mnemonics (best way I've ever found to fall asleep!)

...you increase your upper body strength from lugging around a computer, books, notebooks etc. everyday, everywhere you go, just in case

...you open your laptop and open Becker...then remember you don't have to study today

...the rest of your year is planned around all your studying and exam dates

- I am eating our family out of the house and I've LOST weight. I lose major weight when I'm stressed - always have.

- I have grey hair (I'm 31 - isn't that young for grey hair??). I swear two new ones sprouted this week.

@masa_inn - LOL, I know, I feel like a bad person not studying. After I took AUD I jumped right into FAR. This time due to the fact that FAR made me want to jump out my 2nd story window, I am not beginning BEC until I get my grade next week. So 2 weeks off! But the first few days I would open my laptop and instinctively open Becker...then go, wait a second, why am I doing this? I just wanted to check Facebook...

-when people call asking wha't new, and the response is "studying" for the last five months
-when you make dinner plans in terms of months, "busy now, but let's shoot for July"
-when you get tipsy after one drink after giving up social life and all forms of alcohol for months

ahh forgot about this one, when some of becker answers to mcqs make you laugh (out loud).. ie. computer programmer is a human, really, no s***...lol; sad...

I had one happen to me this morning.
My roommate is headed to the zoo and she asked what I was doing today and I said studying. She looked at me and said I am ready for a different answer from you even if it is a lie.
