    Hello,

    I applied last week for my first exam (BEC) and I sent my transcripts on the same day. For a week, my status was ‘Applied’. Today it says ‘Evaluate’.

    How long should I expect to wait before I receive my NTS?

    They are taking a bit now, I think they estimate that it could take up to 6 weeks for new registrants to get their NTS.

    Once my application changed from Applied to Evaluate, it only took 5 days for them to email me that my application had been accepted and then an additional 3-5 days to receive the NTS and that was last week. But that was just my experience, it probably is different for every person and every state.

    I also recommend checking the NASBA site directly, since your NTS usually shows up there a few days before your state board sends it to you. Good luck on your journey!

    It is not uncommon to take extra time this time around the year. Lot of people are graduating and applying to sit for the exam. In the meantime study as much as possible. It feels so much better to study “freely” than having a schedule (at least for me) I get more anxious.
