The CPA Exam Weekly series has been anything but weekly lately. Last Friday, I physically could not write a post due to a log jam out there on the internet(s). Any other WordPress people using a proxy to write posts? It sucks, but I’ll make due. I even have to manually code my HTML…how old school. Enough of that…

I will be attending a meeting with the AICPA in NYC this week as they tell the CPA Exam review companies what the 2010 CPA Exam will look like. I will give you a first-hand account of what they have to say about upcoming changes to the Exam.
-50 Things You Must Know About the CPA Exam has done well so far and people seem to like it.
-Club 75 has over 30 members now. It has a different type of discussion than what is on this site. It’s a rolling discussion about various topics via e-mail and people can get immediate advice from a variety of perspectives. Oh yeah – and no one is rude
Also – for the time being, I have made my FAR and REG (tax only) notes available for free to anyone who subscribes.
Have a good weekend. I’ll let everyone know how next week’s meeting goes and what you can look forward to on the 2010 CPA Exam.

Hey Jeff!
Can we have exam rant pages for the current testing window?
Thanks! Love the site!
Taylor,
I replaced the rant pages with the section-specific pages.
Plus, there's the window-specific results post.
Thanks for reading,
-Jeff
Just curious, but what scores do you think get the Elijah Watt Sells awards?
I think im going to give up just after two failed attempts at BEC 71, 69…Used Becker,,,I feel so defeated and feel if I cant pass BEC then how in the world could I pass financial. Thought about Yaeger, but I have already bought two sections of Becker…. Just very discouraged…. anyone with advice feel free to email me joseph.jarman9505@yahoo.com
I am looking for some advice..
I passed BEC on 8/4/09 and now am studying for AUD which I'm taking on this wednesday 8/26.
I don't feel extremely confident and will give it my best and am going to push really hard the next two days…
My ?- should i cont to study AUD after this exam (and plan to sit early OCT) or should I move onto Reg/Far and then go back to audit if I don't pass?
Any advice would be appreciated!
Best,
Chris
Don't worry about it. Some people have different skills than the other. My sister passed FAR the first time, but she couldn't pass BEC 3 times!!!! I am on the other hand passed BED and Audit but I am struggling with FAR!!!! Good luck and don't give up. Believe me, seeing certain people passing CPA means only hard work and nothing else.
Thanks for your encouragement. I used Becker to study for BEC, but just bought Yaegar to try again… What are you using… Any tips….
