NINJA CPA Review

Jessica is a new NINJA CPA Blogger.

My name is Jessica and I am currently on yet another wonderful journey to obtain my CPA licensure.

I am a mother of two wonderful kids and currently working as a tax accountant in a small CPA firm in South Florida. I passed 2 sections of the CPA exam 6 years ago and completely let all of my hard work go down the drain because I thought at that time that it wasn’t necessary for our line of work.

I had just got married, wanted to start a family and focus on my children with the goal of being a semi-stay at home mom. I made the most naïve decision and let my two credits go.

Boy was I an idiot!

I found myself in miserable jobs and hit a glass ceiling because I didn’t have the safety net of my CPA license. The time is now to get back on the CPA track and as most candidates say, “get this thing done!”

Through my journey, I hope to provide all you fellow NINJAs with encouragement, helpful study tips and advice on dealing with kids, work, relationships, studying with learning disabilities and stress!

Cheers to studying and I look forward to getting this thing done with you all!

Jessica

Good for You!!! I am a single mother of a 4 year old and my first exam is on 2/17 (FAR). Very challenging trying to balance everything but the payoff is well worth it.

Jessica all the best on your journey. You did it before and will definitely pass again;-) i am married and have a 8 year old, work full time and manage my online beauty supply store. Plus, do Sunday School once a month. Left school over 4 years ago. So, you are not alone. I believe I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.
