Dear Fellow NINJAS,

Summer is my favorite time of the year. This is when I feel the most alive. Probably has to do with the fact that it is finally warm outside.

I have been teaching my daughter to drive. Talk about stressful. Thank goodness for the sun sending all the warmth this way so I can relax some.

As many of you know, the whole state of Colorado seemed to be on fire this summer. It was hard for me to go outside and enjoy due to the smoke and the thoughts of friends losing their homes.

Today I received my NTS. I didn’t realize how nervous that one sheet of paper would make me until today. Yep, I really am going to do this.

This means that I really have to buckle down and study the multiple-choice questions. I still struggle with the thought of doing them. Doing the hard stuff is hard work and when there are so many distractions (especially in the summer) it is easy to put it off.

In the next few days I will decide exactly when I will schedule the test. I know it will be before school starts. The real question is: Before, during or after band camp?

I have been reading the NINJA Notes on the Clarity Project and it is so much easier for me to understand. It seems as though someone was reading my mind. The question that would keep coming to mind is: Why would a desired audit report be called “Unqualified”?
