If you’re looking to purchase a Wiley CPA Exam Review book, you can save $30+ per book if you order through amazon.com.
Wiley makes an excellent CPA Review book that has over 1,000 CPA Exam questions for each section and you can get it for as low as $25 per book (BEC) (it retails for $55 most places. Please note – the discount varies depending on the time of year – check with Amazon.com for updated prices).
You simply can’t beat the price.
I used the Wiley book in conjunction with Yaeger to pass three sections of the CPA Exam (I had already passed AUD before I began using Wiley and Yaeger).
Yaeger CPA Review DVD CRAM (Price Varies by Section with discount code)

go to: YaegerCPAReview.com
Buy the CRAM DVD from Yaeger and then order your Wiley book from Amazon.com and save up to $30 per book. Plus, get FREE SHIPPING on Wiley CPA Review books from Amazon.com.
Take the $$$ you save on the Yaeger CRAM and Wiley book and put it towards something to help keep you sane while studying for the CPA Exam – like a season of “The Office“.

My momma told me, “you betta shop around”.
This concerns the Wiley two-volume set (list price $119.90) vs. the Wiley four-volume set (list price $220.00). Even when getting the set at a discount through the Amazon or Barnes & Noble website, that's still a huge price difference.
According to the Wiley website, the only real difference between the two sets is the way the material is arranged (4-volume has questions embedded in text, 2-volume has questions in book 2), and that the two-volume set is updated and published in June while the four-volume set is updated and published in December.
Is this true? Are there no differences in the content except for the updates since the previous publishing date?

The Wave 1 CPA Exam score release is always my favorite because I average 50% accuracy on naming the exact date NASBA will release CPA Exam scores.
On the other hand, I am terrible at Wave 2 CPA Exam score release predictions – mostly because the AICPA can be very unpredictable in Wave 2.
It’s early January, [...]
Ten random stupid things said to candidates while studying for the CPA Exam:
I found out that I had failed FAR by 1 point and BEC by 2 (double ugh!). My boss offered to let me go back down to part time for the next two months while I study and retake the exams.
A coworker [...]

My interview with the AICPA titled “CPA Exam Myths Debunked” is featured in the September 2009 issue of “The Asset” magazine, which is published by the Missouri Society of CPAs.
The staff at The Asset did a great job incorporating the article into the publication.

Failing the CPA Exam is normal, but frustrating.

There were two people who asked about this in the REG discussion for this month, and I found it worthy of a post. Time management on the CPA Exam is critical for REG and FAR. AUD and BEC? – not as much.
REG is probably the worst exam in terms of time management. They only give [...]
I knew coming out of the exam that I had passed, but I didn’t expect this. I’m paranoid so I’m whiting out my info until I have my certificate in hand.
Thank you GOD.
Thank you Dr. Yaeger and everyone at Yaeger CPA Review!
