Audit Exam Seemed Easy

Okay. I know that many people have said this before, but I took the audit section of the exam yesterday for the second time and it seemed deceptively easy. I took it back in October and got a 67. I was disappointed that I didn’t pass, but I knew that getting that close on my first try was fairly good given most people don’t pass on the first try anyways. However, my question pool seemed significantly more difficult than this last time.

Now, I did study FAR in between the first time and this last time, which I was told actually can help improve the understanding of Audit objectives. However, I felt that, especially on the sims, that my questions seemed more off the wall than they did this last time. Is this a good thing? Did I just get a lucky question pool?

A little information about me, I acquired my bachelor’s degree in business with an accounting emphasis. I was able to graduate undergrad with 150 hours without having to go to a master’s program. How am I doing comparatively to the normal candidates? My first stab at FAR was a 62.

I know that this is a lot of questions, but I really could use some help. I am using Gleim almost exclusively, but I have dipped into Wiley a bit, though I didn’t find it too helpful.

    AUD - 67, 63, 83
    FAR - 62
