I have heard horror stories from some who say that audit is the hardest test and even though it seems “easier” scores are generally lower for this test than others? Is this true, or do some people find this to actually be the easiest test?

It takes less time to study, so for me I would say it's easier than FAR. Quality over Quantity – absolutely true about AUD.

    FAR - 73, 78 (WileyCPAexcel 3,000+ MCQs, 50 SIMs)
    AUD - 73, 81 (WileyCPAexcel 3,000+ MCQs, 40 SIMs)
    BEC - 71, 71, 74, 84 (WileyCPAexcel 3,000+ MCQs, 10 SIMs)
    REG - 84 (WileyCPAexcel 2,000 MCQs, 15 SIMs)

    CA Ethics Exam - 94%

    NEVER GIVE UP.

I would 100% agree that Audit is the hardest test, by far.

The other 3 are much easier to master the material with proper time studied. AUD is so conceptual that even after ~100 hours of studying, a majority of the topics are still grey. Also a huge portion of the test covers engagements that Big4 don’t even do.

Give me BEC and FAR all day over AUD.

    FAR - 80 (4/1/2019)

    BEC - 82 (9/7/2019)

    AUD - 81 (11/23/2019)

    REG - 94 (3/9/2020)

I feel you buddy, I'm in tax…so AUD feels so overwhelming and there's so many steps and details that interrelates…and im just like O.O

    AUD - NINJA in Training
    BEC - NINJA in Training
    FAR - 76
    REG - NINJA in Training

If you’ve worked in audit and taken a course in audit at some point in college it will not be difficult for you. Even without those experiences it isn’t bad at all if you have a good accounting foundation since a good part of it is memorizing concepts and applying basic accounting to different scenarios. For me it took less than 4 weeks to study for and I passed it but I took an audit course and was an auditor for 3 years so I had a prior experience going into my studies. FAR is the hardest exam but BEC is the trickiest to study for. REG is tough but the material makes sense at least.

    AUD - 81
    BEC - 87
    FAR - 80
    REG - 82
