After today I hate AUD 60-70% of my MCQs had phrase except and I had to find 3 right answers in order to make sure I’m right… I don’t think it’s violation of rules, because I’m not going to disclose any specifics, hopefully I passed 50/50 chance, MCQs were very difficult in first and second testlets I marked a lot, I believe it’s very unusual for AUD, SIMs were not easy, but doable.

Did you practice and Simulations before taking the exam? Were the SIMS largely based on FAR or AUD?

I practiced SIMs, but the ones I got were very different from my study material and I would never expect what I got (AUD). I would practice only AICPA SIMs and focus on the MCQs.

I practiced over 3000 MCQs in Wiley with average score 80, I'll be happy to score 75 on the actual exam, but I don't think you should rely on my experience, because usually MCQs on AUD pretty easy.

overall how did you feel about audit? i have only taken reg and bec which i have not done so well. might try audit to mix it up again. have bec repeat in 2q but already stressing

I don't think it's the hardest exam, it's just tricky and you have read very carefully + you can get lucky and get easy SIMs

Sorry I replied to your previous question from a few days ago not realizing you already took this. I fully believe that you need a little luck to get SIMS that you can answer well because it seems that with AUD, there are so many types of SIMS they can give that can be unfavorable. With that said, I knew I had to perform strongly on MC to stand a chance to counter any potential struggle on the SIMS. Per my diagnostic report, that turned out to be the case as I performed “stronger” on MC but “weaker” on SIMS. my performance on SIMS nearly caused me to fail again and I barely made it (76). I just think it is a hit or miss. I think you were right to focus strongly on MC and just do AICPA SIMS because it's just so unpredictable. But hey, I wish you the best of luck I really hope you get that passing score!

VP, You had the right strategy, MCQs may change your score, because you don't know what kind of SIMs you'll get. Thanks a lot! I thought, I'm going to preform much better on MCQs, hopefully the questions that I marked were pretest 🙂 I'll post my score in 3 weeks.

Just retook audit, mixed feelings the SIM's were manageable and the MCQ's were a little unexpected. “Crossing my fingers and hope I'm done”.

I had a similar experience to you. The MCQs were iffy. It was tough to eliminate all the incorrect answers. Also felt like I got tested on 1-2 small details repeatedly that Wiley didn't heavily dive into. Took it 2d ago, we'll see.
