Hey Jeff,

Did we ever come to a conclusion about the loophole where you go to apply for a section and the error message indicates if you passed or not?

For example, I am waiting on AUD, my last section, and when I go to apply to sit for re-examination, I get the following message:

I too am hoping the loophole does not work but will post hopefully later tonight if we get our results.

Jeff has yet to comment on this . . . I am assuming he is avoiding it or laughing everytime we post something about it because he knows if it works or not and isn't telling us.

Thanks! Good luck to you too!!!! Now… when I go into the NY State NASBA site to register for an exam my information doesn't come up… it's blank. This morning I could register for all the parts even the parts that I passed… Anyone in NY waiting on their last exam… try to login to see if you can register for an exam… I am sure at this point I am just grasping at straws, but it's a definite change from this morning.

I will post my results as well. I am in SC (NASBA) and it is letting me register again for my pending section, FAR, on the OH site. The SC lets me register for anything and everything. A few more hours…

Loophole seems to be working . . . just got my score and I didn't pass. Today before I got my score I was able to re-register.

So it looks like the OH loophole holds true for me… I could register for AUD this morning when yesterday it said score in process and I failed…. The fact that the NY State went blank early this evening for re-registration proved nothing.

The loophole must work. I could register for my pending FAR exam today and I ended up failing with a 69 tonight, thus allowing me to re-register.

Loophole holds true in Missouri. Yesterday said scores were pending, today would let me re-register for Audit, tonight score received….74.

It seems like the loophole is bad luck, so i'm just going to suck it up and wait.. : (

I am in OH. Just tried the loophole using the link above. I can register for the two that I know I failed but can't register for Reg. but never received a message. In theory, Have I passed or failed?

only works if this is your last part on your current NTS and NASBA has received & processed (this is done before they post but after they receive scores from AICPA). If all that is true then you passed. However you can't know if NASBA has updated your score in the system . . . if they are yet to do that it won't let you register b/c they don't know if you passed or failed yet.

I just tried to re-register for REG and it says I have an exam still in progress. Suppose it will be sometime tomorrow before NASBA updates the system to see if I can re-register. This loophole almost seems that it can be just as nerveracking as putting your section id and dob in on the website. I am not sure I want to know but we will see how it goes tomorrow. I probably will give it a try.
