KeymasterCelebratory posts are awesome…it would be great if they were in one place for the benefit of others.
I also think people would enjoy reading the strategies of others and how they passed.
No questions here please (I will delete them to keep it clean) … just success stories and advice/strategery from those who passed.

Participant87 on AUD!
Studied fulltime for 3.5 weeks… used NINJA notes (Thank you Jeff!!!) and Becker only for their testbank. NINJA notes were SO much better than reading the Becker textbook – clear, concise and a great basis of knowledge which I refined through drilling MCQ.

ParticipantA little late but here I am to say: I passed the monster of AUD!!! Took me a year to pass this section, but it is over. I never thought this section would take me this long or that it would be so hard for me. Failed 3 times before passing, so keep trying everyone. It is possible to pass, you can do it too!

Participant89 from my test on August 3rd!! I've kept the NASBA score tab up so I can look at it from time to time π
I have to say – there is NO way I could have passed without Ninja MCQ. Each testlet felt challenging but familiar to me, and I know it was because of how much time I spent on MCQ's and SIMS. I also used Roger, which helped me get a baseline for the material.
Now onto that dreaded FAR exam!

ParticipantI got an 89, which is surprising since I couldn't concentrate on studying and kept procrastinating all the way. I hated it.

Participant96 on AUD.
Ninja stats:
Trending: ~85
Average: ~81
I completed around 1500 of the questions, all attempted only once.I spent about 50-70 hours in Wiley over 5 weeks and then bought ninja 14 days before the test and did about 35 hours in that.
My exam experience was pretty rough and totally different from my first exam (REG), which I left the testing center feeling like I had a very good chance of passing (scored an 89). I left the testing center feeling like I failed. I had 35 min left when I finished all the SIMS, and I typically like to use that extra time to review and correct some mistakes but I felt so defeated that I just submitted the testlet and left. I felt like I had a ~40% of passing. I didn't feel like any of the testlets got harder, and I had a decent amount of questions I felt I was guessing on (at least 5 per testlet). The SIMS were pretty difficult in my opinion and required some knowledge that was outside the AL and AUD study materials.
Ninja was a game changer for me. I will definitely be getting the FAR MCQs, as I feel that made a big difference in my preparation and helped me polish up some topics that Wiley didn't cover as well.

Participant88 on audit. I am an auditor which definitely gave me a leg up on the test. Studied January and February but then got too tied up in my busy season. Picked it back up again in May and took test in June. I used Wiley text book and would do every question in the book at the end of the chapters. Then went and did every question and sim on the test bank and was trending around 85% during review. First testlet was medium, second one felt impossible and the third one was medium. I feel that I scored very high on the sims and that led to the high grade, however, I walked out of that testing center thinking there was no way I passed. It is pretty crazy how uncertain you can feel coming out of these exams.
My advice to anyone taking audit is to know your Corporate Governance and Risk Assessment as well the situations when an other matter paragraph is added to the report. Also know the differences between your opinions and the situations applicable to each (adverse, qualified, etc.) The financial statements are the end product of an audit so I feel reporting is the most important chapter. I also recall MCQ's on the role of the internal auditor. As far as the simulations are concerned, I received a sim on the effects of ratios on Net Income, Assets and Liabilities and responses to risk assessment. Also received a research questions. I hope this helps anyone taking audit and good luck!

ParticipantI gave myself 18 days to prepare for the retake after getting a miserly 65. And ended up with an 87!! I purchased the NINJA MCQ's for the retake and worked on them until I knew why each answer for every question was right, and why the other three options were wrong. Made my own notes while reading the Wiley book (no lectures)
Ahh lovely feeling this. SIMs were horrible but it seems I got lucky with my guesses.

InactiveWooooHoooooo, still shocked about my 80 after failing with 70 and little studying leading up to the test. I did see two of the exam same sims from my previous test. THE EXACT! I hedged my bet and chose different answers.
