Got really excited over the weekend when I finally got my score on AUD.

Alloted 2.5 hrs for the Sims and it paid off because I really had to significantly use the AL to answer the Sims.

One more exam to got (REG).

You just need a 99 on REG for the EWS award…NO PRESSURE

    Thanks!

Will be putting on a great deal of effort in preparation for my last exam.

    With God's grace it's possible.

Wow @Cortiz & @MyPet, you both nailed AUD. Congratulations!

I was aiming to finish each testlet between 30-35 mins but the MCQs were worded with lots of tricks with it. For instance, with the very first MCQ I had, I know I knew the answer but I could not find it from the 4 items to choose from. I ended up finishing the 3 testlets in 2.25 hrs cramming to get to the Sim. With only 1.75 hrs left, I was not able to use AL to use it as a reference to items other than the research questions.

Oh well, I have not gotten my score yet but I did my best. If I fail, I am ready to pick my AUD-B up and study it like never before.

Same here Cortiz I allocated approx 2 hours to the sims and end up getting a 99

    AUD: 99 MAY 29 2013
    REG: 84 July 1 2013

I tired using the AL for my FAR sims. I couldn't really navigate well enough to help myself out. I do fine finding the answers to the research questions but other than that I haven't had much luck. I'll try again when I take AUD.

Those are some beautiful scores. I will now go for 2-2.5 hours on the simulations. It would be great to end this beast with two exam scores in the nineties.

Passed: R-F-B-A - Persistence is the key to passing.

I gave myself 2-hrs for the AUD SIMs. Even went to the bathroom before starting them. Used AL and changed a few of my answers with that assistance. For my efforts, I got a 74.

Clarity SAS, here I come. <sigh>

@lsutigers03, when searching the AL, the regular search field sometimes does not display the correct ranking as to relevance of what you are trying to search, however, when you have narrowed down the topic you can use the “search within” functionality to efficiently search within the topic (the search words are highlighted). It worked for me on non-research TBS as I have even identified exact phrases within the AL mentioned in the TBS questions word-for-word.

It takes practice and generally familiarity to some degree on the topics in the AL.

    @mypetmeatball @cortiz822

With regards to the EWS award, do you know if you get a 95.5 average if you win the award or not? I'm in the same boat as cortiz822, need a 99 on AUD to have a 95.5 avg. The AICPA says it's awarded to candidates with a “cumulative average above 95.5” so does that count us out?

    REG - 95
    FAR - 96
    BEC - 92
    AUD - 99

    Above 95.5 = 96 and above I believe

or greater than OR equal to 96

    FAR (5/07/13): 96

That's what I figured 🙁 ..If i get a 100 :/ on AUD ill have a 95.75 …So if we appeal BEC what do you think the chances are that they'll give us extra points lol

    REG - 95
    FAR - 96
    BEC - 92
    AUD - 99

    Good point @scestone.

My BEC was 90 so I really need to score 99 on REG my last exam to at least average 95.5.

I was looking at deferring my exam to Aug 2013 instead of July 2013 in order to extend exam prep.

Still it's a long shot to get 99 on REG.

I'll look a little more into it and get back to you, Ill try and contact the AICPA but more than likely we would probably need to be over 95.5

    REG - 95
    FAR - 96
    BEC - 92
    AUD - 99

How did you guys manage the stress and limited time to answer (the tricky) MCQs correctly & quickly to be able to get to Sims with more than 2 hrs remaining?
