Time passes exponentially more slowly the closer you get to score release. Theory of relativity. Length contraction, time dilation…August 21, 2019 at 5:59 pm #2647215bmj2sParticipant
SSO had my score. I made a 61 on ninja practice exam, made a 57 on the actual test. I was trending an 78 though. I’m a little mind blownAugust 21, 2019 at 6:05 pm #2647227PokeyParticipant

Ugh. 65 on FAR but it was my first time so next time I guess 🙁August 21, 2019 at 6:16 pm #2647275WarriorParticipant
@Terr what course review did you use?August 21, 2019 at 6:19 pm #2647278Orioles19Participant
Bmj2s, my thoughts exactly. That is what I am, mind blown. Those simulations were completely unfair in my opinion. I haven't seen one person on this thread post a passing score.August 21, 2019 at 6:22 pm #2647287friendoflifoParticipant
88 on BEC !! I did not feel good about the exam leaving prometric at all. Just keep your head in the book and in your computer and keep on going. Do not give up!! Hope everyone passed, and if not, learn from your mistakes and get it next time!!August 21, 2019 at 6:22 pm #2647290August 21, 2019 at 6:23 pm #2647257CPT_CPAParticipant
I passed AUD one more to go.August 21, 2019 at 6:24 pm #2647296bmj2sParticipant
Well my SIMs were just about spitting images of the AICPA practice. Now idk if I should move on to FAR, retry AUD (cause it's obvi not that fresh if I made in the 50's) or maybe just stop altogether cause it's just a personal thing. I don't “need” this. Just kinda sinking money into it.August 21, 2019 at 6:27 pm #2647317August 21, 2019 at 6:27 pm #2647320elenittaParticipant
I received 87 on FAR! My first CPA exam. I also had tons of attachments in simulations. Simulations weren’t hard but I just didn’t have enough time to go through all of the attachments. I was rushing though the last simulations and finished with 30 seconds left. Now, onto the AUD!August 21, 2019 at 6:31 pm #2647332laney713Participant
89 on REG. I am beyond relieved. Felt the MCQ were relatively easy after studying the material with Becker and hammering down on MCQs with Ninja heavily the week leading up to the exam, up to the point I was dreaming about doing REG questions. The SIMS really scared me though. Felt there was only 1 or 2 I was 100% sure about, the others felt like they were playing mind tricks with me. I just went with my first instinct and I guess it turned out alright. Now onto BEC then AUD!August 21, 2019 at 6:32 pm #2647335August 21, 2019 at 6:35 pm #2647359SeanParticipant
Anyone know when California is going to get released? I've been sitting here refreshing for the last 35 minutes, finally got into the CBA website and it isn't in yet.August 21, 2019 at 6:37 pm #2647362
No score yet. Washington State but I took the test in Guam so it may be later I guess…August 21, 2019 at 6:41 pm #2647416starsberryParticipant
I have no idea how bc my FAR exam had an IFRS sim and ridiculously obscure MCQs, but I passed with a 92. Honestly, beyond shocked.August 21, 2019 at 6:44 pm #2647437Jeff Elliott, CPAKeymaster
Be sure to post in the “I passed” threads that I just bumped when you get the good news 🙂

FAR is a lot less “judgmental” AUD seemed to test the thought process/ professional judgment of being an auditor in my opinion.August 21, 2019 at 7:30 pm #2647644jw09172Participant

I tried to post something longer here but it won't let me. I don't know what's wrong with it. Let me try again:
Cayb, it's all in good fun LOL I'm just poking at you, don't take it seriously. I can't imagine having to wait a whole quarter for scores. The next one I take won't be as bad, it's on the 7th of Sept and the release is the 19th and since I'll have one this quarter I should be able to do the eyeball trick. And I passed FAR with an 84. I loved Financial Accounting in school (had a 4.0 in accounting and was either 1st or 2nd highest grade in my Financial accounting classes), but there's a lot of stuff on there that is obscure and also specialized, like pensions.
If you failed, don't feel bad. It's a hard test. If you're thinking that maybe you should give up, don't. If you give up you'll never know what you could have been. And it will eat at you. If you decide that you don't want to do this any more, and you want to do something else instead, that's okay, that's not giving up, that's changing directions. But don't run away from something without having something to run toward.
“Success is failure turned inside out, the silver tint of the clouds of doubt. And you never can tell how close you are, it may be near when it seems so far. So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit. It's when things seem worst that you must not quit.” This poem hung in the managers office of a certain retail store where I worked two decades ago. It's taken me twenty years to figure out what I'm doing with my life. I regret nothing. And you shouldn't either.
Just one more to go – AUD!
