Just took BEC this morning. First testlet was manageable and the second had quite a few questions where I was like ummmm the F***? Anyways this is my last exam and I’m really hoping I don’t have to retake it.. Also I didn’t write sinceley, my name on my written communications…isthat bad?

Studying for the CPA exam is easy. Its like riding a bike. Except the bike is on fire. And the ground is on fire. And everything is on fire. Because you're in H-E Double hockey sticks

@kay S you are surely clearing it! *Positivity*
I am taking it soon. Were there questions/SIMs from ECO ? And in general was the exam more calculation intense or not ?
Though this is my re-take of the exam as my credits expired I am so nervous because a lot is dependent on this exam for me, both at my job and in personal life. *fingers crossed*

Hi there! Mine was pretty math intensive…and yes I had quite a bit of Econ in there. It’s truly dependent on the luck of your draw. Mine was meh 😐 The WC’s were pretty basic

I took it today and the MCQ were the hardest of any of the tests I took. Becker did not prepare me for the type of COSO questions on the exam.

I did not write sincerely at the end of each WC b/c none of the Becker samples did.

    Feel like it’s 50/50 I passed.

@tiderfl that is scary to know 2 days before exam using Becker as well. Are there any specific sections you recommend to master in particular ?

I took BEC today in Brooklyn, NY. It took all 4 hours for most of test takers. I would say it was not difficult; it was insane. The insanity was not in in the degree of its difficulty but how time consuming it is. Parts 3 & 4 were very wordy cost accounting problems. Very difficult not to answer the question but to understand what they want from you… I am sure that I failed it.
    P.S. I am a business professor…

@Orpheus — I completely agree with you. Part 3 and 4 were just insanely long and irritating. I thought it was just me who felt that it was crazy to have such time consuming SIMs.
