Hi guys! I’m preparing for my final exam, BEC. I feel like a lot of people say this is the “easy” exam, but I’m not gonna underestimate this. I’m watching the Roger videos, taking notes, and practicing questions. Does anyone have any tips on what helped them pass BEC?

BEC is a tricky exam, good to know you're not underestimating the exam. You dont need to memorize the ratios but you would want to know why we use certain ratios for specific purposes. Anytime you see the word turnover, the account would be on the denominator. For instance, for AR TURNOVER, the AR would be on the denominator. Anything that is amount related, its always on the numerator. Know when to use the division at the appropriate time. Be sure to master corp governance, COSO, IT, and variance analysis. These are critical items in BEC.
Below arent tested heavily but as a CPA, you should know them. Operating and financial leverage, Du pont analysis and free cash flow. They are very important in my opinion.

BEC is easy for those who are good at mathematics. People who passed CMA will pass BEC without any efforts.

    AUD - 85
    BEC - 90
    FAR - 77
    REG - 91
