So i just got my 5th failing score for BEC (that is not a misprint – 5 times!). Clearly I need a new plan. I have used Becker and managed to pass the other 3 parts on my first time. I am considering getting Yeager but I realized that theres a “homestudy” and CRAM and I am not sure which one to get. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Hang in there airhol2. I just passed BEC on my 4th attempt and can understand your frustration! I switched over to Yeager and bought both the CRAM and the Homestudy. Defintely buy (at least) the homestudy. Cindy Simpson is an AMAZING teacher and actually takes the time to explain things to you (versus Becker's memorization). Phil and Mike also do a great job of teaching. There's such a huge difference between what I learned with Becker and what I learned, understood, and could apply after Yeager. Good luck on your next attempt. You'll nail it!

I've managed to fail BEC 3 times now, mostly using Becker. I just purchased the Yaeger Homestudy and will attempt in August (REG in April and FAR in July already scheduled).

I do have an oddball kind of question for anyone. I've had several (well 6) concussions and have some difficulty in memorizing things. Does anyone have any tips? I have the devil of a time remembering those formulas.

The best way for me to remember things is to take notes. I have 2 monitors which makes note taking very easy. I make a separate file for each subject that Yaeger covers. I also number the files. e.g. #2 Internal Control (AUD)
