I’ve passed REG & FAR- now its on to BEC. I’m on the ECON portion of studying (using ROGER) and it seems so abstract? At least with FAR & REG the concepts are a little bit more objective. Some of the ECON stuff seems wicked abstract! How did you wrap your head around it? What helped you? Micro I feel a little better about but I feel like Macro is just flying over my head.

Wait until you get to Audit lol. For what it's worth, Econ probably won't be a large portion of your test. Get through the material and it should come together in the review phase after doing some MCQ.

    FAR - 79

I would rather set for BEC and AUD together 3 times than FAR!
At least with bec and aud you either know it or you dont (especially with aud).
With far its really like a gamble you never know what to expect next by clicking that pointing right arrow at prometic.

I wouldn't say its harder, but definitly broader. Each topic weighs a little in the exam so it can feel a lot. Make sure you do a ton of MCQs to enhance understanding.

    Shoot for the stars!

    FAR 88 04/19

    REG 95 07/19

    BEC 91 11/19

    AUD 88 12/19

For me BEC took more time. The calcs slowed me down. It was the only exam where I used the whole time allowed. Make sure you budget time for the writing portion.

I love Econ, but didn't get much on the exam. A lot of cost, COSO and ERM.

The volume of information in FAR made it the hardest for me. Still, BEC is not a walk in the park. All four are difficult.

AUD was the most relatable for me.

I'm sure you will do wicked awesome on BEC.

It will come together. I can't remember anything related to calculations for macro, so just doing a ton of MCQ will help it come together. I thought macro was much easier than micro – I felt like almost every question could be answered just by thinking it through carefully.

    AUD - 95
    BEC - 91
    FAR - 84

IMHO BEC is a nightmare. I passed REG with 89 at the first try; BEC I have fails 2 times. Funny, I have years of experience TEACHING business in several colleges. But BEC is triggering in me a total stress, shock, and mental vomit… This trash is simply Absolutely useless and some topics can't be learned using ANY test prep. materials. I strongly believe that AICPA is committing crime with respect to society forcing us to waste our valuable lifetime for studding the trash which we will never use. The more I study for CPA, the more I respect people who have survived this torture but the less I respect the CPA designation…
