going to write BEC on Oct 02

    Hi all,

    This is going to be my first exam for uniform cpa examination module. I prepared well using Becker Review and going to hit the big screen on Oct 02,lil bit nervous but can deal with it. will see u all after the exam.

    what review course did you use to prepare for BEC?

    Mainly Becker, both regular course and final review.

    Before that – read first 3 chapters of Wiley book.

    And, also, turned to Wiley when it seemed that Becker didn't explain thouroughly enough (ex. variances).

    P.S. I used all those because I don't have natural "talent" of understanding math or accounting, never got more than B+ in any of my accounting courses (well, A- in auditing, which is conceptual).

    So, I needed all the resources I could use.

    However, i think that any one system is sufficient if you input enough time into studying; and even final review might not be neccessary.

    Good Luck on your exam. What exam section are you taken and from what state? Being your first exam, do you understand the score release process? I only ask, because I was totally lost after my first exam. However, this website has all the information and support you will ever need to know regarding the cpa exam. That's my opinion.

    Thank you for wishing me GOOD LUCK. I guess i did well with the exam. It was very comfortable but one thing i noticed is, its very hard to predict the scores in BEC.

    CPA96, glad to hear you felt good going out of the exam–hope that bodes well–for both you and me. I took it this morning and felt pretty good coming out of there. Now the waiting begins! It's probably about 5 weeks til Wave One of scores are released, I think.

    I took the exam this afternoon and felt pretty good after as well. It wasn't easy, but it wasn't awful. Maybe it is because there were no sims?
